Water quality changes everything. Bob didn't "grow into his color", he recovered. Clean, heated, cycled water = fuller fins, brighter color, stronger fish! Poor water quality slowly damages fins, gills, and organs--and most people don't even realize it because that's how they're sold. Surviving is not thriving.
