I am Cynthia, the founder and owner of The Habitat Standard Co. My journey started long before this business took shape; since childhood, I have always loved animals and felt a deep responsibility for their well-being. I am building this company from absolutely nothing—no fancy setups, no initial capital, no separate location—just a vision that I am bringing to life from the ground up.
Throughout my life, I have consistently noticed that most chain pet stores treat their animals poorly. From lack of space and low-quality food to the terrible conditions for fish in tiny tanks with poor water quality--this industry needs a change. My business prioritizes quality care above everything else. My mission is for The Habitat Standard Co. to become the recognized mark of excellence for animal habitats everywhere.
Beyond providing the standard myself, I plan to spread education as far as I can so more people care for their animals with the same quality and passion I do. I am committed to expanding only as much as I can while keeping quality care as my absolute number one priority.
