Ethical Freshwater Fish Rehoming
When you can't keep your fish, we help find them a safe, ready home.
If you no longer want or can no longer care for your small, freshwater animal, contact The Habitat Standard Company to see if there is an opening in a ready, cycled tank to start the rehoming process. Only species we are properly equipped to care for will be accepted to ensure no pets are improperly housed. Selection is limited for optimal aquatic care; the worst that can happen is we may have to say no based on current capacity.
Pickup is available in select parts of Harford County, Maryland, and drop-off is available in Bel Air, Maryland. Please contact us to check eligibility.
Donate Aquatic Supplies
Help us build better habitats for rehomed aquatic pets.
We accept donated aquatic supplies to support ethical rehoming and education. This includes used tanks, filters, heaters, and unopened aquatic animal food, plant food, testing kits, and similar items. We even accept live plants. Donations help reduce waste and significantly improve the quality of life for rehomed fish and plants within our care.
